Technical Sales:

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:30 to 6:00.

Join a team that helps installers around the country find the right home automation/security solution for their next project.  We sell exciting home technology like lighting controls, whole-house audio, video surveillance, access control, temperature control and more, then support the field technicians during installation.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing customer service and technical support by phone and email
• Providing product specifications based on customer requirements
• Attaining basic knowledge on all product lines and in-depth knowledge on select product lines
• Becoming a product specialist on select product lines
• Participating in Outreach Program to maintain contact and increase sales to existing accounts (bonus opportunities)
• Opportunity to participate in and host online and in-person trainings

Successful candidate will possess:

• Building Trades

System Provisioning Technician:

Large, modern apartment buildings are sprouting up around every major city.  Be a part of the local team that configures smart locks, thermostats and lighting controls that go to properties all around the country.  Pay is hourly. The position is part time weekdays and hours are flexible. Training will be provided.
Note: This is not a programming position - configuring devices is all about following on-screen prompts and following the outlined process that typically includes:

• Unpacking devices from their retail packaging
• Configuring devices using a web browser or smartphone app
• Labeling devices
• Packing devices

Successful candidate will possess:

• Entry-level technology skills (navigate a web browser and operate a smartphone app)
• A process-oriented mindset – the ability to efficiently repeat the steps needed to configure devices
• Ability to lift and move product cases, typically not more than 30 pounds
• Ability to sit or stand for the duration of a shift
